Overlook Hotel

Matt Dilmore has helmed offbeat, award-winning campaigns for PlayStation, Little Caesars, Gatorade, Pepsi, KFC, Cheerios, Downy, and more. Memorably, his parody ad for The Shining’s ‘Overlook Hotel’ was featured on the 90th Oscars broadcast. His documentary ‘The Great Imposter’ was part of ESPN’s Emmy-winning ’30-for-30’ series. The short tells the story of Detroit salesman Barry Bremen who gained notoriety in the 1980s for successfully posing as an athlete at over twenty major professional sporting events.

Additionally, Dilmore has directed music videos for bands such as Black Lips, CSS, Wise Blood, Black Moth Super Rainbow and co-founded the cult internet-
radio program Pussyfoot.

In recent years he has enjoyed a unique creative partnership with legendary soul musician Swamp Dogg, directing not only his music video for ‘Stardust’ but also serving as the creative director of his album ‘I Need a Job...So I Can Buy More Auto-Tune.’

Dilmore’s book publishing imprint, All Stones, is about the intersection of film, sports, outsider art, and photography. All Stones’ debut offering ‘Last Night at the Alamo’ showcased the photo work of acclaimed cinematographer Eric Alan Edwards (My Own Private Idaho, Kids, To Die For).

He lives and works in Hollywood.
