This notice explains how Friends & Family handles information collected through www.friendsandfamily.tv.

It applies to the public marketing site and its newsletter signup.

When you subscribe, we collect the email address you provide to send occasional updates about new work, directors, and studio news.

Friends & Family uses Resend as the processor for newsletter contacts and email delivery.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. To unsubscribe or ask us to remove your newsletter email address, contact terry@friendsandfamily.tv.

If you allow analytics, the public website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use. This can include the page and referring site, approximate location, browser and device details, Work-directory selections, and engagement with the full spot viewer, including starts, progress, completions, and active watch time. A successful newsletter signup may be counted without sending the email address or form fields. Decorative background and hover-preview playback is not counted as intentional spot viewing.

We do not send newsletter email addresses, contact details, or other directly identifying form data to Google Analytics, and we disable advertising personalization signals. Google processes the analytics data under its own privacy policy.

When enabled, Google Analytics may set _ga cookies on www.friendsandfamily.tv only. They are Secure, SameSite=Lax, and expire after no more than one year. Analytics event data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months.

The site also uses localStorage and sessionStorage for site interactions. Your analytics preference is stored locally so the site can remember whether you allowed or declined analytics.

Google Analytics does not load until you choose Allow analytics. You can decline without losing access to the site. Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to allow, decline, or withdraw analytics permission. Withdrawing clears the site's accessible Google Analytics cookies and stops future analytics events.
